Think of us as your practice's behavioral health department.
When you partner with us, the burden of behavioral healthcare is tackled by a team of three people:
Primary Care Provider
(You)
Behavioral Health Care Manager
(Valley Psychiatric Services)
Psychiatric Consultant
(Loma Linda Psychiatric
Medical Group)
You enroll your patient. We handle the rest.
Here's how it works:
Identify & Enroll Your Patients
Your patient screens positive for depression, anxiety, or another behavioral health concern during their primary care visit.
Screening
A Valley Psych Services Behavioral Health Care Manager reviews your patient's history and symptom rating scales. The patient is entered into our patient registry, then handed off to the Psychiatric Consultant for review.
Treatment
A dedicated Psychiatric Consultant from Loma Linda Psychiatric Medical Group develops a treatment plan and delivers ongoing behavioral health care to your patient. Recommendations for care are given to the Primary Care Physician.
Weekly Monitoring & Case Review
The Behavioral Health Care Manager and Psychiatric Consultant review progress weekly. If symptoms persist or worsen, treatment is adjusted.
We provide regular patient updates and track outcomes quantitatively using rating scales (PHQ-9 & GAD-7). Progress is documented regularly to facilitate awareness and insurance reimbursement.
